
Bill Simmons
Bill Simmons is the Chief Executive Officer at St. Luke’s Patients Medical Center. With over 30 years in the healthcare field, he has served in positions at nine Texas hospitals ranging from assistant controller to CEO. His CEO roles have included positions at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital, as well as Select Specialty Hospital and North Cypress Medical Center. In addition he has held positions of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at four area hospitals as well as Director of Operations for Triumph Healthcare.
Mr. Simmons has a BBA degree in Accounting from Southwest Texas State University. His broad operational background in hospitals and physician relations skills make him well suited for his role of CEO at St. Luke’s Patients Medical Center. He is also active in the community, having served as member of several boards including both Baytown and Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, Baytown Rotary, United Way and YMCA as well as chairing two Goose Creek Independent School District Bond elections.
Bill is a native of San Marcos, Texas and has lived in Baytown for over 20 years. He and his wife Cindy have three grown daughters, two sons in law and 3 grandchildren. He is an avid golfer and sports enthusiast.

Paul Hanson
Paul Hanson is the Chief Financial Officer at St. Luke’s Patients Medical Center. With over 20 years in the healthcare field, he has served in positions at seven Texas hospitals ranging from Business Office Manager to CFO. His CFO roles have included positions at HCA facilities in the Houston market and the South Group CFO for Triumph Healthcare.
Mr. Hanson has a BBA degree in Accounting from Southwest Texas State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. His experiences gained by working through the ranks of the hospitals have helped develop the necessary skills and qualifications to make him well suited for his role at St. Luke’s Patients Medical Center. He is also active in his church, having served on church committees and participated in numerous mission trips.
Paul grew up in the San Marcos, Texas area and has lived in Pearland for over 10 years. He has one grown son living in Montana. Paul enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, fly fishing, and visiting historical landmarks.
