Your Hospital Bill

St. Luke’s PMC is committed to sharing with you information about the billing process for hospital services. A Business Office Representative will talk with you about your expenses and send you a bill in a timely a manner. There are some payments which may be required from you at the time services are provided, such as insurance deductibles, co-pays, and payment for services not covered by insurance.

If you have insurance coverage, St. Luke’s PMC will bill your insurance carrier after hospital services have been provided to you.

If you do not have insurance coverage, St. Luke’s PMC will send a bill to you soon after health-care services have been provided. The bill you receive from the hospital will clearly state the service provided and when payment should be received. If you have any questions regarding your bill, please call 713-378-7961.

Other bills you may receive

It is possible that you may receive separate bills from other professions who cared for you while you were at the hospital.  Your physicians, plus physicians who interpret laboratory and imaging tests, are examples of professionals whose fees are billed separately from the hospital.
